PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Pharmatech Associates is seeking an Accountant to assist with our monthly and quarterly accounting close process and reporting. Candidate will analyze projects and the Company’s financial statements. Job includes review and support of payroll, timely and accurate generation of accounts receivable, collections and cash receipts as well as providing overall accounting support.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Month end reconciliations encompassing timely analysis and monthly close process; this includes account reconciliations and journal entries as required.
Analyze and develop weekly internal operational reports on key performance metrics for projects. This includes responsibility for timesheets – monitor and collect data to assess accuracy, integrity and costing to projects.
Supervise and verify accuracy of biweekly payroll for 30 people.
Process biweekly invoicing, client interface, collections & monthly statements. Manage the processing of cash receipts and recording of revenue.
Duties and reporting will include but not be limited to headcount, average bill rates, opening & closing projects, interfacing with accounting and timesheet software providers to resolve issues, and a variety of special projects and responsibilities as needed.
MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Potential supervision responsibilities.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Business with a major in Accounting or Finance.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 5 years of applicable accounting experience
REQUIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS: Expert Excel user and solid proficiency in Microsoft products, including Access, Outlook and Power Point. Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise strongly desired. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products. Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, advanced mathematical and logical deduction with the ability to make well thought out decisions. Ability to prioritize conflicting demands.
